My name is Hao Miao. I am currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I obtained my PhD degree at Aalborg University, Denmark, supervised by Prof. Christian S. Jensen, Prof. Yan Zhao, and Prof. Chenjuan Guo. I also work closely with Prof. Bin Yang . From September 2023 to February 2024, I was a visiting PhD at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) advised by Prof. Gao Cong.
From 2018 to 2021, I studied Master in BigData 4 Urban Intelligence Lab led by Prof. Senzhang Wang. From August 2020 to April 2021, I was a research intern at Tencent supervised by Dr. Diansheng Guo. I also worked as a Research Assistant at PolyU advised by Dr. Jiaxing Shen from May 2021 to November 2021.
